The ‘Viral Secret’ – does it work – YES, YES, YES – if you Pay
You may have heard about The ViralSecret – a recently released viral list building tool from Russell Brunson. If not, go check out this quick video to see how it works:

Anyway – it’s a great concept – the idea is you submit details of your email newsletter (your newsletter list name in Aweber) and your newsletter goes into a queue with other marketers newsletters and every time someone promotes the site your newsletter subscription link is shown and people sign up. That’s basically how it works.
I have tried this out for around 10 days on the Free offer – waiting my turn which was largely effected by own ability to promote my link. But why would I promote my link to people who are already on my list? So to me that does not work. BUT, I then signed up for the $47 upgrade (not the $97 one – you have to go through that) and this put me as the 7th newsletter offer in the rotation – a kind of bonus newsletter. Now I have started to see subscribers – around 5/6 per day. While this does not seem a lot – that’s around 35 per week – or over 100 per month – well worth the investment in my book. Now, I have not described it too well here but head over to the site and watch the video of how this works and if you think this is something that you could use I would highly recommend that you do the upgrade – the $47 that is!

Hi Peter,
You’re right! It does work if you pay the upgrade. But it also works by giving out content that’s targeted to this kind of audience.
And by that I mean, offer an incentive that would help people spread the word and help them build their list.
I didn’t upgrade but still I got a couple of subscribers in the first 24 hours it launched. All it took was a blog post and a video on youtube to rank in search engines and get the traffic rolling and from there the autoresponder would take over and do the rest
Thanks for this share and review,
